A serving of Greespi is packaged in a special opaque and airtight package (sachet) that protects the product from UV radiation and oxidation. The non-contact packaging method ensures maximum hygiene of the product. The sachet weighs 20 grams and contains a biomass of a rich emerald color, which consists of 100% microalgae.

Greespi/sachets undergo a fast and deep freezing process that takes only one minute. This method preserves all light- and temperature-sensitive nutrients in their original state.

When frozen, Greespi has almost no taste and odor. It can be consumed frozen: the consistency resembles a sorbet with a neutral taste and a slight aftertaste of pumpkin seeds or unsweetened persimmon. Once defrosted, the biomass looks like thick yogurt, with neutral taste and smell.

But the most effective way to consume it is to make a drink with Greespi: add 100-150 grams of room temperature potable water to the defrosted serving and stir a little with a cutlery. That’s all, your superpower cocktail is ready. 

Should you leave the defrosted sachet or prepared drink out for a while, it will take 2-3 hours for it to reach room temperature, in which case a slight odor and taste of raw egg white may appear. This process is due to the high protein content (70%) of Greespi, and indicates its completely natural origin and composition without preservatives. Avoid using hot water or boiling water when preparing the drink. The products are delivered to you frozen to preserve all their beneficial properties. Upon receipt of the package, you should place the sachet bags in the freezer of your refrigerator. The optimum storage temperature is from -5 to -18 degrees Celsius, at which it can be stored for up to 6 months without losing its beneficial properties. Detailed instructions can be found here.

You get your order in a branded thermobox, which is kept below 0°C until delivery thanks to coolers specially designed for Greespi. The coolers are food safe and environmentally friendly.
